Online video (unfortunately uses Windows Media Player format) and audio (using MP3)
No RSS. No map even though the content is suited to it. No personalized content or blogs. No automatic aggregation from other MSF sites - the content is collected manually.
There is a link to a podcast of a lecture about MSF created by another site.
Refugeecamp.org interactive flash feature
Podcast
Good collection or video content, some audio. Formats vary but quicktime and Windows Media Player were common.
Extensive "Voices from the field" diary entries, but no RSS Blogs. No way to subscribe to diary entries or news feeds.
No RSS, blogs, personalized content, audio/video.
Nice interactive flash map of local chapters that appears to be dynamically generated.
Extensive RSS feeds, personalized blogs, podcasts more...
Strong use of online audio and video
Nice interactive map, although the content is only a list of greenpeace national sections.
This site is very similar to the international site, and likewise makes excellent use of RSS feeds.
Good use of audio and video, although formats vary (quicktime, Windows Media Player, Real Player). No flash, and no possibility of including a video in someone else's blog.
My Greenpeace allows web visitors to create their own blogs in addition to more ordinary membership tasks.
Several Flash games and children's features.
No RSS feeds, blogs, or personalized content. No audio or video. Good map of project sites, but only simply implemented using an imagemap.
Video content, although originally made as TV spots. No way to share videos or include in a blog. Quicktime format. No RSS or personalized content.
No RSS feeds, blogs, or maps. Some semi-personalized content and videos. This section would be an excellent opportunity for actual blogs. Video is in Real format.
Nice interactive games section.
No RSS feeds, interactive media, or personalized content. A single video (recently made by us) has a link buried at the bottom of an inside page.
This site also suffers from many usability flaws such as text rendered as images, navigation done using a single image map, no indication of new content, and poor search-engine performance.
No RSS, personalized content, or audio/video content.
Several interesting map features include species map and wildlife images.
RSS feeds for news topics and press releases. No audio or video content on website, although redcross has made short informative videos that would be ideal for this.
