Pixelated.tv is currently looking for partners to participate in Extreme Makeover - Village Edition. This project would parody the popular TV show while demonstrating simple and effective techniques for development including solar power, efficient stoves, and improved hygiene practices.
We always look for ways to make the most of every opportunity. For example, a news feature can be refashioned into a donor video, and a training program can also identify unique new opportunities or be a good story in itself. For this reason we always shoot what is known as "coverage" so that we are able to tell a few different stories from a single field shoot.

Because we're part of the community, having volunteered and worked for organizations in development, human rights, and progressive social change, we're as concerned with being effective as you are.
